Project goal

After a good start in 2020, my client was looking for even higher growth in ecommerce sales. Their wines received awards from Wine Enthusiast, James Suckling, CWSA, and many others. They mostly exported their wines, and they lacked notoriety in their domestic market - Portugal.

Solution

I increased revenue using 2 main channels: - Ultra-targeted Facebook & Instagram Ads, with an average ROAS of 7.7; - Launch of email marketing campaigns to bring back customers without additional acquisition costs. Revenue increased 174% even though the website was unoptimized and using the Woocommerce default theme (the client only wanted to upgrade in 2022). The added notoriety from advertising lead helped them secure shelf space in major domestic supermarket chains too.
